BBC African Player Of The Year Shortlist

The five nominees have been announced for the BBC African Player of the Year award.
The nominees are:
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Gabon & Borussia Dortmund)
The 26-year-old striker scored in eight consecutive games at the start of the season for Dortmund and also netted 25 goals for the club last term.
André Ayew (Ghana & Swansea City)
The Swansea midfielder scored three goals for Ghana on their way to the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations final. He previously won the award in 2011.
Yacine Brahimi (Algeria & FC Porto)
The 25-year-old winger completed the third most dribbles in the 2014/15 Champions League, behind Eden Hazard and Lionel Messi. He is the current holder of the award.
Sadio Mané (Senegal & Southampton)
The 23-year-old netted the fastest hat-trick in Premier League history against Aston Villa. It took him only 176 seconds. He has made a massive impact at the Saints this season.
Yaya Touré (Ivory Coast & Manchester City)
The 32-year-old played a major part in City's second-place finish in the league last term and captained Ivory Coast to their second ever AFCON victory earlier this year.
