It has been another brilliant Premier League campaign for the Citizens, who followed up last season's tally of 100 points with 98 points this time out.
Despite having won two league titles in a row, Guardiola is not resting on his laurels, especially with his side having a disappointing UEFA Champions League campaign once again.
The Spaniard is reportedly set to add to his squad in the next transfer window, especially with a number of his players now in their thirties.
According to the Daily Mirror, Leicester City's Harry Maguire is a target with it being believed that both Nicolas Otamendi and Eliquam Mangala will move on.
Another centre-back target is Ajax Amsterdam captain Matthijs de Ligt, although with Bayern Munich, Liverpool and FC Barcelona also after the 19-year-old wonderkid, City might not fancy their chances in the race for his signature.
Further upfield, Atletico Madrid holding midfielder Rodri is reportedly someone Guardiola is looking at. The 22-year-old has been likened to Barca's Sergio Busquets, a player the City manager relied on during his days at the Camp Nou.
Rodri's teammate Saul Niguez is also on Guardiola's reported wish list, while in attack, the boss is said to be looking at Benfica youngster Joao Felix. The 19-year-old Portuguese star has enjoyed an excellent breakthrough campaign this season, and has even drawn comparisons to Ronaldo.
