David Luiz’s mom has made fun of Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho on social media, following Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League progression.
The PSG defender, who vowed not to celebrate if he scored against his old teammates, netted one of the two away goals that saw PSG advance through the to the quarter-finals, and the Brazilian’s mom took to Instagram - making fun of the Portuguese manager.
The 27-year-old’s mom, Regina, posted a picture of Jose Mourinho on Instagram where the former Real Madrid manager appears to be crying, captioning the picture in Portuguese, which translates to:
“Cries that only mom is going to buy! God is faithful, Mr. Mourinho!!! For you!”
David Luiz, who left Chelsea to join the French giants at the start of the season, later apologised for his celebrations against his former club, but hasn’t commented on his mother’s social media post.
Since his arrival at PSG, Luiz has scored five goals and assisted one in 35 games for the club, and has become a key figure in their domestic title chase - as well as their Champions League campaign.
