Kaizer Chiefs' medical team have released their latest injury report, with updates on attackers, George Lebese and Bernard Parker.
The medical team have revealed that the likes of midfielder, Ovidy Karuru, and defender, Levy Mokgothu, are sidelined after picking up minor injuries in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge game against Bidvest Wits two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, first team regulars, Lebese and Parker, have returned to training although they have not fully recovered.
Lebese picked up a groin injury in the Amakhosi’s first league game after the festive season break against Mamelodi Sundowns, while Parker has been out of action since the final game of last year against Bidvest Wits.
“Both (Lebese and Parker) are involved in training, continuing with their recovery journey to full fitness,” Chiefs' official website revealed the Medical Team report disclosed.
What do you make of this news? Do you think Komphela should rush either of the pair back for the derby? Or do you think Chiefs can cope against Pirates without them?
