Reports in Malawi are linking Kaizer Chiefs and other clubs in the top flight with a Malawian attacker and centre-back.
Domestic football continues to be suspended indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic, although in the interim, clubs have already been underway with their plans for their squads in the new season.

Reports coming out of Malawi have revealed that Chiefs and AmaZulu FC have made inquiries into the service of Chawanangwa Kaonga, who currently plies his trade for TS Sporting.
"After the Nedbank Cup game between TS Sporting and Bloemfontein Celtic, both scouts of Kaizer Chiefs and Amazulu FC showed very big interest in the player, so we are looking forward to seeing what is going to happen when the league resumes," Mac Donald Aphane, a South African-based football agent said as quoted from The Times Group official website.
In addition, Aphane confirmed that Miracle Gabeya, who was previously on the books of Nyasa Big Bullets, will start training with Cape Town City once football returns.

"For Miracle Gabeya, he will be training with Cape Town City when the team starts training. Malawian players showed how good they are in terms of quality in our league," he added.
With Chiefs' FIFA ban in plce, it remains to be seen what movement will take place by the club in the upcoming tranfer window.
