Details For Anele Ngcongca's Funeral Confirmed

Anele Ngcongca

After what has been an extremely difficult week in local football following the sudden tragic passing of veteran defender Anele Ngcongca in a fatal car crash, the details of the funeral of the star have been communicated by the family.

The football fraternity and Mzansi woke up to the tragic news of the Gugulethu-born player's departure on Monday morning.

The 33-year-old right-back had been in KwaZulu-Natal to spend the 2020/21 season on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns.

The former Genk and Bafana Bafana player would have been officially announced as a new signing for Usuthu this week, had it not been for the unfortunate incident which saw him lose his life in the early hours of Monday morning.

On behalf of the Ngcongca family, Siyasanga Ngcongca confirmed on her official Twitter account that the funeral of the departed star will be held on December 03.
