Cristiano Ronaldo put on a show for Real Madrid as they progressed to the quarter-finals of the Champions League on Tuesday evening. But did the Los Blancos star try to kick Dani Alves at some stage during the game?
The Portuguese international put Real Madrid ahead in the 51st minute of the game, courtesy of a perfectly-struck header. His goal meant he equalled Ruud van Nistelrooy's record of scoring in nine consecutive Champions League outings, while Zinedine Zidane's side progressed to the quarter-finals for the eighth consecutive season.
But before "CR7" hit the back of the net, it appears that he and Alves nearly came to blows, with the 33-year-old seemingly attempting to kick out at the Brazilian and former Barcelona man.

The incident went unnoticed by the match officials, but it could certainly have been another story had he connected with Alves...
Do you think Ronaldo was ready to launch himself into the right back?
