Orlando Pirates are expected to resume training on Monday, January 9th, to prepare for the second half of the 2016/17 campaign.
The Absa Premiership will only resume action in February, due to the 2017 Gabon Africa Cup Of Nations Competition which is being held this month.

The AFCON break will allow clubs in the PSL enough time to prepare for the second half of the season and a source has confirmed that the Soweto giants are expected to return to training next week Monday.
The Buccaneers endured a bitter ending to their first half of the 2016/17 campaign, after suffering a 2-1 defeat to Bloemfontein Celtic in their last Absa Premiership encounter in December, which leaves the team sat in 10th place on the league standings.
However, the Soweto giants will look to use the mid-season break to regroup and prepare to improve on their form for second half the 2016/17 campaign.
