Norwich City boosted their survival hopes in the Premier League with a 1-0 win over Leicester City on Friday evening.
Jamie Vardy missed out due to a calf injury, as Brendan Rodgers recalled Hamza Choudhury, Harvey Barnes and Ayoze Perez from last Saturday's loss to Manchester City.
The Canaries almost grabbed the front foot from a corner following the opening minutes, but Teemu Pukki headed straight at Foxes goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.
Leicester responded and hit the foot of the post with a near post attempt from Dennis Praet on 26 minutes following a cross from the right.
Perez linked up with Kelechi Iheanacho and found space inside the six-yard box following the 38th minute to get a shot away which Tim Krul smothered.
Leicester hit the front three minutes after the break when Iheanacho brought down a long ball to finish into the bottom corner. However, the Video Assistant Referee came into the picture and disallowed the strike after the Nigerian was deemed to have used a hand in the build-up.
Schmeichel produced a fine finger-tip save to deny Ondrej Duda a scorching strike from outside the area following the 61st minute.
Duda was in on goal again four minutes later and yet again brought the best out of Schmeichel with a powerful close-range strike.
Schmeichel was finally beaten after Jamal Lewis brought down a cross from the right to drill into the far corner in the last 20 minutes.
The Foxes searched for a comeback and turned to the bench to call on Youri Tielemans and Marc Albrighton who replaced Perez and Praet respectively later on.
Norwich could've bagged a second goal in the final minute, but Schmeichel pushed Josip Drmic's curler to safety as the Canaries boosted their survival hopes while Leicester seem to be losing their grip on third spot.
