Despite speculation linking him with a move to a bigger club, Thanduyise Khuboni’s immediate future appears to be with Golden Arrows.
Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns were said to be interested in signing the midfielder earlier this year, as his contract was due to expire at the end of the 2012/13 season.
However, Soccer-Laduma can confirm that Arrows have since taken up the option on his contract, and extended his deal to June 2014. The 26-cap Bafana Bafana international has been an extremely reliable performer for Abafana Bes'thende since he started his career with the club in 2006.

Arrows’ General Manager, James Dlamini, confirmed to the Siya crew that Khuboni’s contract will run until June next year. He said, “Yes, he has a contract with us until June 2014. I can’t say what the terms of his contract are but his deal does run until then.”
