The Siya crew has been informed that Kaizer Chiefs can still conclude a deal to lure Joseph Molangoane from Chippa United.
Molangoane has been in a contractual dispute with Chippa since the end of last season, after the Port Elizabeth club suspected that he might have signed a pre-contract with Chiefs.
Following their appearance at the Premier Soccer League’s Dispute Resolution Chamber this morning, Chippa and Molangoane’s camp have agreed to settle the matter out of court.
Molangoane has already been at Chiefs for training, although he later stopped because of his contractual dispute with Chippa.
“There is a good chance that the player can still go to Chiefs. There’s a 50/50 chance that he can still go to Chiefs. Negotiations are ongoing behind the scenes for the move to finally be completed,” a source told the Siya crew.
The Siya crew has gathered that Chippa and Molangoane’s camp will be negotiating a settlement fee for the player to get his clearance from the club.

Depending on the amount and Chiefs’ willingness to pay, Molangoane could end up being a Glamour Boy, although the Amakhosi wanted to sign the player on a free in May.
