Ahead of Bidvest Wits' match against Polokwane City, coach Gavin Hunt has said that his team won't be resting on their laurels and will be taking it one game at a time.
Wits have been in great form this season, claiming the scalps of Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and, most recently, Cape Town City in a 3-0 demolition in the MTN8. However, Hunt has said that his team are taking things as they come, and that their three consecutive wins need to set the standard, rather than be considered an achievement.
"I know it's an overused saying, but we are taking one game at a time," Hunt told journalists. "We can't get ahead of ourselves and think the three wins we had at home are a measuring stick."
The former SuperSport United coach added that his team will adopt a different approach for each game and that today's match will be played without any consideration for their previous wins.
"We have to take each game on differently and make sure we approach each game as if we haven't won before. The past is gone and today we want to win three points," Hunt concluded.
