Zimbabwean midfielder, Gerald Takwara, is in the process of trying to impress Highlands Park coach Gordon Igesund in the team's training.

The 28-year-old has been identified as a transfer target for the Lions of the North, as the club will be attempting to improve their results in the second-half of the season.
Speaking to the Siya crew from Zimbabwe, Takwara's FIFA-accredited agent Gibson Mahachi confirmed that the defensive midfielder is scheduled to spend a week trying to impress Igesund and his technical team.
"He started his trial yesterday (Thursday). He went there a day before (Wednesday). He is a defensive midfielder," said Mahachi.

Takwara is currently on the books of FC Platinum in Zimbabwe. He will be hoping to join countrymen Tapuwa Kapini, Augustine Mbara and Charlton Mashumba at Highlands Park.
