Free State Stars have been dealt a blow with an injury to the league’s leading goal scorer Andrea Fileccia.

The Belgian fractured his nose in the 0-0 draw with SuperSport United last weekend.
Fileccia is the league’s joint leading goal scorer with the September/October Absa Premiership Player of the Month Collins Mbesuma of Mpumalanga Black Aces.
Both players have each scored five goals so far in the 2015/16 season.
However, the good news for Stars is that their next game against Mamelodi Sundowns is scheduled for November 21, which might be enough time to allow the injured players to recover.
Fileccia is expected to be on the sidelines for two weeks. Ea Lla Koto have also further confirmed that defender Robert Sankara is nursing an ankle injury.

Other injured players at Stars include Sthembiso Ngcobo and Reuben Thebakang.
