The AFCON group stage continues with the hosts Gabon taking on Burkina Faso today. Gabon will be looking to get back to winning ways after their 1-all draw against Guinea-Bissau, however, Burkina Faso are also in search of a win.

Cameroon battle it out against Guinea-Bissau with both teams looking eager for three points in this Group A encounter.

The English FA Cup third round replays are also set to get underway, with minnows Plymouth looking to shock Premier League side Liverpool at Home Park, following their goalless draw at Anfield previously.

Gabon v Burkina Faso (AFCON)

FIFA Rankings: Gabon 108th & Burkina Faso 53rd

Useful facts: With four consecutive draws in all competitions, Gabon will be desperate to get the ball rolling against a team that they have a favourable historical record against, with two wins and two draws from five previous encounters. Burkina Faso have only won one of their last six games.

Cameroon v Guinea-Bissau (AFCON)

FIFA Rankings: Cameroon 62nd & Guinea-Bissau 68th

Useful facts: This is the first time these teams will play each other and Cameroon, who are undefeated in their last five in all competitions, will be favourites going into the game, with Guinea-Bissau winless in that timeframe.

Plymouth v Liverpool (FA Cup)

League Rankings: Plymouth 2nd (English League 2) & Liverpool 3rd (Premier League)

Useful facts: The only match between these two teams in recent history was the goalless draw earlier this month. Both teams have drawn their last three FA Cup matches, with Plymouth failing to score in five of their last six. The underdogs are, however, in better form, with three wins from their last six in all competitions, compared to the Reds’ two.
