11 PSL Players Whose Futures Are Still Undecided…

There are several players in the Premier Soccer League who are yet to have a decision made on their immediate futures at their respective clubs.

The 2017/18 domestic campaign came to an end on May 19, following the 2018 Nedbank Cup final, with the PSL officially on their off-season break.

However, in the meantime, there are several players whose futures are currently uncertain, as they look to have a decision made on where they will be playing their football next season.

Mzikayise Mashaba:

Mashaba was released by Mamelodi Sundowns last year and is currently a free agent. Months later, the player is yet to find a new footballing home, although a decision could be made in the coming weeks.

Gumede, Masina and Kobola will part ways with Cape Town City on June 30, after the club opted against extending their stay. Asavela Mbekile and Thabo Nthethe:

The duo will see their stay with Sundowns come to an end on June 30, with Nthethe expected to be announced by Chippa United in the coming weeks.

Yannick Zakri:

Zakri is currently on loan at Ajax Cape Town until June 30, whereafter he will return to the Chloorkop-based club. However, sources have revealed that the player could make a permanent transfer away from the Brazilians in the upcoming July/August transfer window, with the striker currently heavily linked to Cape Town City.

Keagan Buchanan and Tsepo Masilela:

As reported previously by the crew, Buchanan’s camp is looking to come to a mutual decision about possibly terminating the player’s deal at Kaizer Chiefs, while the Soweto giants are yet to confirm whether they will extend Masilela's stay beyond June 30.

Travis Graham:

Graham will be a free agent on June 30, seeing his stay with Ajax comes to an end after being out of action for the entire 2017/18 campaign. The player has been linked with the likes of Bidvest Wits and Cape Town City.
