Following a hard-fought 4-2 victory over Burnley on the weekend, Jurgen Klopp's side remains in the race for the Premier League title, occupying second position on the table, one point behind Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.

The Reds also find themselves on the brink of progression to the Champions League quarter-finals – they face Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich in the return fixture of their round of 16 tie on Wednesday night, having played to a 0-0 draw in the first leg.

Salah, who is the joint-leading African goalscorer in Europe's elite leagues along with Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and LOSC Lille's Nicolas Pepe, has now admitted that he would sacrifice his dream of winning the Champions League if it meant Liverpool were crowned league champions

"So, I am happy to sacrifice my dream for their dream, but if we win both, that would be great and this is what we are trying to do."
