Having recently reported that certain Orlando Pirates players won't be travelling with the team to Spain for pre-season, the Siya crew has learnt that one of those players could be joining another team in the DStv Premiership soon.
A source close to the whole situation informed the Siya crew that Ronaldo Maarman, who was on loan at Chippa United last season, could possibly be returning to the Eastern Cape.

Siya sources have indicated that the Chilli Boys possibly want the 23-year-old on a permanent deal.
"I can't say he is not travelling with the team because of the possible move to Chippa at the moment," said the Siya source.
"But, yes, it's true Chippa have requested to sign him on a permanent move after spending last season there on loan.
"He did very well and coach Morgan (Mammila) has proposed to the chairman if they can have him again this season. The chairman has said that they want him on a permanent deal, not a loan again," the source informed the Siya crew.
Maarman was originally from Chippa United when Pirates signed him in 2021. They then loaned him out to All Stars. In 2022, he returned to Pirates but was loaned out to Chippa.
Last season, he had played 23 PSL games, scoring on three occasions and providing five assists.
Apart from Chippa United, another team that has shown interest in the midfielder, is SuperSport United as previously reported by the Siya crew.
The Siya crew contacted Chippa United team manager Wanda Mbenguzana for a comment, but he referred us to Chairman Chippa Mpengesi who was not available while preparing this story.
