The Frenchman, who is the most expensive Red Devils player ever, has revealed that David Beckham is his favourite player to have worn the famous No. 7 jersey, snubbing the likes of Eric Cantona and Cristiano Ronaldo.
"His style of playing, his goals – he's iconic in Manchester," Pogba told the Daily Metro.
"When you look at the No. 7, you put his name straight away – David Beckham.
"The way he had control of the ball, his free-kicks, his passing.
"If he wanted to pass the ball there, you knew it was going to go there – so he's a legend."
Beckham spent eight years in United's senior side, winning the Premier League six times, the FA Cup twice and the UEFA Champions League once along the way.
