The manager believed to earn the most per season is Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone, who is reportedly paid £35.9 million (R671 million) a campaign."'Cholo" is on a contract that sees him get a similar annual salary to what former Atletico striker Antoine Griezmann was getting at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Simeone earns more than both FC Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde and City's Guardiola, while, according to El Confidencial. Zinedine Zidane will take home £10.5 million (R196 million) after a season's work at Los Blancos, the club he recently returned to after resigning last year.
The Daily Telegraph has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino earns about £8.5 million (R159 million) in a single campaign, which is slightly more than what Manchester United's Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does at Old Trafford.
