As Kaizer Chiefs prepare to take on AmaZulu in the MTN8 semi-finals, there is a big question on whether it's realistic to put pressure on the team to win the trophy.
Chiefs have just signed a number of new players still trying to adjust to a new environment and already have the pressure to end the trophy drought at the club, beginning with the MTN8.
Amakhosi have already shown frailties in the early stages of the season, as they lost their first big game of the season by a big margin against Mamelodi Sundowns.
And the Glamour Boys also showed that they still have a long way to go, to develop a winning mentality after a below par performance in Macufe Cup.
However, there remains an opportunity in this cup that you only play three matches to reach the final.

Relatively new signing Siyethemba Sithebe believes they have a chance to go all the way.
"It's (against) my ex team, so I'm more motivated, more than 100 percent ready for this game," Sithebe told the media at the club's open day.
"This is our chance now, it's only two games then we're in the final, then in the final we have a chance to win."
Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane is aware of the pressure in the team and revealed how he has created a relaxed environment in the squad, by making the players have fun as much as possible, to ease the load on expectations from supporters.
"You know in football if you want to win things and if you want to do well, you have bring that element of fun," Zwane told journalists at the club's training base at the village.
"We don't want tense players, I don't want to be tense myself. I used to be a player, I didn't want to be tense. I wanted to be free all the time so that I can be able to express myself and that's exactly what we're doing," he said.

"That's why they are having fun (at training) and will also be having fun on the field until we get it right. Because the more they become tense, is the more they'll be making a lot of mistakes and mistakes that will never help them to grow," he explained
"You know, but if he makes a mistakes but can see that 'oh, I made a mistake but this is what I wanted to do because it is within our structure' then he'll grow. Because he knows that it's a mistake that he can rectify, so football is a game of mistakes, right now we fighting to minimize our mistakes and we're doing very well.
"We're coming alright and I have no doubt very soon we'll start winning games, not conceding goals and scoring more goals," he added.
Chiefs last reached the final of the MTN8 in 2015 as defending champions and lost against Ajax Cape Town (renamed Cape Town Spurs).
