Etafia is no stranger to South African football. He will forever live in the hearts and minds of Moroka Swallows fans, having served diligently for more than 300 games for the Dube Birds! He also featured between the sticks for the Nigerian national team on a handful of occasions, and now serves as the goalkeeper coach for Swallows (and also had a stint as caretaker coach).
Interestingly, there are only three players who have played more than 300 games for one PSL club: Tinashe Nengomasha for Kaizer Chiefs, Brett Evans for Ajax Cape Town, and Etafia.
