Three Fans Give Komphela Advice

Three Fans Give Komphela Advice

Three passionate fans gave their advice to Coach Steve Komphela following the Amakhosi's goalless draw with Bloemfontein Celtic at the FNB Stadium on the weekend.

Chiefs did not capitalise on Mamelodi Sundowns' draw with SuperSport United as the Soweto giants chase the league leaders, Sundowns. In what was Chiefs' 11 league draw of the season, fans have given their advice to the coach.

Soccer Laduma's Supporters Club selected three comments posted by the fans on the Soccer Laduma website.

ail4lyf wants Coach Komphela to play more attacking football.

"Steve Khomphela tries to fool us by saying he plays with three defenders, yet all we see is 7 defensive players. That's why we keep playing to so many draws, it mean less attack. We play a lot around in our own half."

khosibybirth548 beleives that striker Leonardo Castro must spearhead the attack.

"The bottom line is that Castro needs to start playing at 9. (Ryan) Moon to the bench. Then introduce a natural second striker. Clearly we cannot play with Moon and rely on crosses."

Carder305 agrees with ail4lyf, indicating that Chiefs need to be playing more attacking football.

"Chiefs has a lot (of players) in defense last night, they had 8 defensive players. On average they always have seven, how do they expect to win? Moon wasn't getting enough supply, and he is very deadly in the box."
