#TBT The 2010 TKO Final: Remember When Ngcobo Turned Slim Kat Into Sleep Kat?

This coming weekend sees Soweto giants Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs lock horns in a PSL match at Soccer City. Supporters Club takes you down memory lane to yesteryear's derbies between the two teams.

The 2010 Telkom Knockout final... do you remember it? The game was played at a packed FNB Stadium, and both sides had a number of household names in their set-ups, with Amakhosi having the likes of Zimbabwean sensation Knowledge Musona, Siphiwe Tshabalala, Itumeleng Khune and Reneilwe Letsholonyane available, while Bucs could call on Moeneeb Josephs, Andile Jali, Happy Jele and Daine Klate.

The game certainly didn't disappoint. It was Chiefs who opened the scoring, through Sthembiso Ngcobo in the 11th minute, and the first half ended 1-0 to the Glamour boys.

The second stanza began at a very high tempo, and it was Ngcobo who doubled Amakhosi's lead when he headed in a Punch Masenamela cross in the 64th minute. Pirates continued to pushing for a goal and ended up opening up at the back. Siphiwe Tshabalala sealed the victory for Chiefs after a quick counter-attack in the 78th minute.

The final Score read Orlando Pirates 0-3 Kaizer Chiefs, and Amakhosi were crowned the 2010 Telkom Knockout champions!

What are your best or worst memories of that game?
