Mamelodi Sundowns produced a dazzling display against Marumo Gallants in Bloemfontein yesterday with a 3-1 victory to progress to the Quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup.
Wholesale changes from Downs' clash against Al Ahly didn't seem to slow them down as a hattrick from gunman Peter Shalulile was enough to see them through.
Here's how the readers reacted to Sundowns' win in the "Shalulile Hat-Trick Keeps Downs' Nedbank Cup Defence Alive" story:
"Yes I am a Sundowns fan but I don't know what else to say about them, praising them is getting boring. It feels like it's 100% chance they will win," says Ubalalolo.
"I only watched the last 10 minutes of the game and I'm happy for Zungu, he almost finished the match, I hope the injury wasn't serious," says tshepolegodi.za.
"I wonder what is it that our coach sees in this guy called Allende. I know people have their opinions but I do not see why our set pieces specialist is this guy. We rarely score a goal via set piece when this guy is present, he delays most of the passes until our players become offside.
"He is comfortable on the ball I agree, but he is not better than Kapinga. He cannot create many chances nor cause problems in the opponent box," says Cutter.

Andile Jali's agent Mike Makaab has revealed that the ongoing contract situation at Downs has unsettled the veteran midfielder.
Rulani Mokwena didn't reveal much when asked about the matter, stating that the club will make an announcement in due course.
Makaab went on to reveal that there's interest in Jali on both local and international front but wants clarity from Downs on whether or not they want to keep Jali.
Here's how the readers responded on the "Agent Hopes To Bring An End To Sundowns' Jali Uncertainty" story:
"Being a soccer coach doesn't mean that you also a good manager, all the best Mr Jali," says Pumpkin.
"That's Rulani sometimes he doesn't know what he is doing," says crronaldomphoza.
"He is just human and he is not from PTA and they'll give him 1-year extension, remember Hlompho and what happened afterwards.
"He maybe is a good player but he is past his sell by date, let him accept that and move on. He has made his money let him go and spend it back home," says userThautha.
"They must just let him go, the guy can't put Mokoena on the bench, not even the sober Mbule. There's Riva and Zungu, who are every much in the picture, makahambe lomfo (he must go)," says Shikabala.
"Sundowns will give Mr Jali a one-year with an option to renew. I don't see him leaving for another team in the PSL. I think he has learnt that a lot from players like Mphela, Mphahlele, Khanyeza, Mbesuma and latest Manyisa. All left at this age and where are they today?" says bhekilekhuleni6.
