Let's take a closer look at what they had to say...
Comments
Former Marumo Gallants head coach Dylan Kerr explained what was frustrating for him about coaching Orlando Pirates' new signing, Katlego Otladisa.
Kerr coached the former Sundowns winger at Gallants last season and says Otladisa is so talented that it annoyed and frustrated him that he could not play to his full potential.
The ex-Swallows coach feels that Otladisa can light up any football team with his ability but labelled him "unpredictable". Kerr went on to advice Pirates coaches to incite him in a nasty way to get the best out of him.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Kerr: Pirates Must Kick Slap Otladisa" story:
"Lol, slap? yes coach I agree with you. Otladisa was supposed to fight to get a call up for Bafana Bafana but he seems like he's lost somewhere, or maybe is happy with what he has achieved; which is car, maybe a house.
"I'm not sure, but anyway, at Pirates we are quick see through you if you are not doing justice to the team," says Bucs365.
"The competition will be very hard for him... this is not Marumo. Here we have got quality bro, game time is not guaranteed. With good players like Matrose, Ratomo, Saleng , Loach, Pule, and Maswanganyi, he must work hard to get the nod," tm194441.
"I was wondering why Kerr is not being given enough chances as a coach. Now I understand after this interview. I agree with him about Otladisa (I actually said something to that effect about his attitude), but to beat him is extreme," says msanisto.
"Baba this is Pirates, not Gallants. We don't kick players here. If he loves us, we love him. If he performs, we loves him. If he plays sh.....t, we have Matrose and Ratomo. This is Pirates, we have quality, not quantity," says sphe.mhlabeni.
Read: Confirmed: Bafana Given Tricky World Cup Qualifying Group
Hugo Broos' Bafana Bafana have been drawn in Group C for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers and will face the likes of Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Benin and Rwanda.
The draw for the qualifying groups took place after the 45th CAF Ordinary General Assembly In Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, with SAFA president Danny Jordan, Vice President Bennet Bailey, and CEO Lydia Monyepao in attendance.
Unlike previous editions, where only five African nations could qualify, the new World Cup format will feature nine teams from the continent.
Here's what the readers had to say on the "Confirmed: Bafana Given Tricky World Cup Qualifying Group" story:
"Oh guys come on what is tricky here? Please, soccer editors stop making these guys soft, they must go fight. They can win this group but since you always say every team is tough for them, they will always think we will feel sorry for them," says sphe.mhlabeni.
"Bafana should just try to avoid away loses and win at home with our support, filling up the stadiums when they play, then we'll qualify..." says matomealdin.
"Remember bafethu those African teams that have most of their players in Europe do not perform to that European standard. It's like the players do not give their all.
"Mzansi stand a big chance here. Nigeria has got hundreds of players playing that side (overseas) but they no longer have top top players," says sesetutu5.
"The only team that can give us a problem in this group is Nigeria. Other countries we stand a good chance to beat them. The reason I say Nigerians will give us problems is that their team is always dominated by players who plays in Europe, while South Africans rely on local players," says @mapuh.
"You're one of the few objective people. There's a belief that local players are quality but are not wanted by anyone in the real footballing world.
"We also think that being successful domestically is good enough internationally," replies Football psychology to @mapuh.
"Now Rick Flair will be tested. Beating Morocco in that dead rubber, made him believe he's the best thing to ever happen to South Africa. Let's see how good he is," says siyaz.
"Bafana Bafana can win this group so easily, nothing special about these countries," says morewasn.
"I see nothing tricky here it's only Nigeria if they are serious about qualifying. It's up to them," says meshackmolainyane.
"There is nothing tricky about this group at all. Even Nigeria is not that tough for Bafana like before," says Rio Da Khosi.
"Even if they qualify for that WC, they will still be knocked out of the first round. Let them focus on the AFCON and take it from there," says @ThizaK.
