After Masandawana's tought stalemate against Orlando Pirates in Soweto, the men in yellow finished the game with zero shots on target.
Not only is it a rare occurrence that the high-flying side failed to get rattle the back of the net, it's also a nod to the solid Pirates defence that kept out danger-man, Peter Shalulile.

Here's what Neo Mathamela 8 said on the "Downs Coach Shocked: This Is Very Rare" story:
"Truth be told, Pirates outplayed us, had a tactically superior plan than just showing up, but they didn't capitalise. They might regret not taking this chance, we might self correct and field a much better starting 11, with Nasir and Mbule coming in to replace Kutumela and Mokoena, but if we keep Kutumela for the 2nd leg, we will lose."
SL reader, Pgyakeni was left worried by Downs' under-par performance:
"Downs must be aggressive to breach a defense of that type. Honestly, this team is slowly loosing its bite. It's like there is no plan B. The coaches always complain that the teams are parking the bus but its their duty to break the bus and prove that they are a big team. If the approach doesn't change, I foresee an embarrassment of some sort especially in CAF where there is less respect."
On the "Possible Sundowns Exit For Duo In January?" story, regarding fringe players Katlego Mohamme and Luvuyo Phewa, some fans were still keen to talk about Downs' performance against the Buccaneers in the MTN 8.
"How do you harbour ambitions of conquering the continent as a club yet you can play entire 90 + plus without a sniff at your opponent's goals?" said Tolly-The-Return.
On the "Rulani Explains Erasmus, Lakay Safranko Decisions" story, a fan defended the club's decision to let go of Kermit Erasmus, while another was struggling to understand why Lyle Lakay was loaned out to Cape Town City:
"Sundowns is the team to beat, period. Even drawing against them is now being viewed as a "win". By the way, Kermit didn't deliver to his promises, he had to bounce," says Shikabala.
"Rhulani is talking nonsense. How can you transfer Lakay and leave Modiba. Lakay is best compared to Modiba and the newly signed left back from CT City. I also do not understand why Morena must be benched in favour of Mudau," says Lucky Downs.
