Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena spoke about drawing inspiration from the great Jomo Sono, as he continues to raise the bar in South African football, despite the MTN8 final setback.
Mokwena is yet to lose a league match since being appointed as sole head coach of Masandawana, setting a new record in the PSL era of 32 games unbeaten.
The legendary Sono recently praised Mokwena, his nephew, for the hard work and dedication he's put into the game, with the 36-year-old coach revealing that Jomo's success is enough weight on his shoulders.
Mokwena says he sees Jomo not only as a father figure, but also an inspiration, from everything he's achieved as a player and a coach.

"Which success is he referring to, as a Footballer or as Coach?" asks balosang.
"I like this coach, and he is achieving so much at a young age. He is setting the bar really high for other coaches in the PSL and I'm a big fan of him.
I love his way of praising his uncle and family for his achievements, shows the kind of person he is - a humble person," says owolabiokalekangbolahan.
Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah has been linked with an exit from the club in recent months and he's finally broke his silence regarding the rumours.
Reports have been linking the Nigerian youngster with an overseas move for some time, with the 25-year-old confirming that he's not thought about leaving Pirates.
Ndah made a return to the team for the first time since February in Saturday's MTN8 win over Mamelodi Sundowns, coming on as a substitute for Nkosinathi Sibisi.

"South African journalists are bored," says Saavedra.

"Definitely a man of the match for me," replies msanisto.
