This year, Messi has been in phenomenal form, some going as far as suggesting this is the best form of his life! And he's chasing that elusive record once again.
However with the season fast drawing to a close, the Barcelona player is 10 goals behind the pace of his 2012 form, and has quite a gap to close. Barca are still in the La Liga title race, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League.
