This weekend brings some exciting facets to our football. All in one go we will watch the Soweto derby, the KZN derby, and the Limpopo derby… We begin with KwaZulu-Natal, and spoke to a passionate and enthusiastic supporter of Maritzburg United.
Supporters Club sat down with United superfan Paul Latchman to find out how the supporters feel about the Team of Choice heading into the derby against Golden Arrows.
"The team is doing well and the supporters are happy. We believe the results will start coming our way soon," he said.
"There is a different approach this season; last season we played really attractive football but the results were not going our way.
"I think the approach from Ernst this season is to play some unattractive football, grind out some results and then there will come a time in the season where we can express ourselves.
"It's different to last season when we played nice football but were battling relegation. I hope we can get a result for the coach, it is his birthday after all."
