Kaizer Chiefs head coach Steve Konphela is a man under immense pressure, especially as "Jola" has already experienced two trophyless seasons at Naturena.
He is now is his third campaign with the club, and indications so far are that it won't be much better than the previous two. Amakhosi haven't tasted victory in the 2017/18 campaign, with three games played already.
TheAmakhosi faithful are really not at ease. One particular supporter took to one of our platforms to pour his heart about his beloved team. Here's what he posted:
"Some relationships just don't work out. It doesn't matter how much the partners try to fix things, when it's not meant to be, it just won't work.
"The only reward a person can get out of a bad relationship is constant pain and heartache. I am sure nobody wants that.
"Steve Komphela is a very intelligent man. Deep in his heart he knows that things between him and Kaizer Chiefs are not working.
"His relationship with the Phefeni Glamour boys has become a toxic one, toxic relationships usually end in tragedy, both Steve and Chiefs would not want that.
"Kaizer Chiefs is a big team. Big teams thrive on positive results and success; at the moment that is not happening at Naturena.
"The patience of the supporters has been tested to the limit, Steve cannot afford to sit on a ticking time bomb.
"It's time for him to cut his losses and get out of this relationship before it's too late. It will be the honorable thing to do. There is nothing more important to a man than his honor." – Sydwell Hlongwane.
