It has been an interesting season of football in the Absa Premier League. Though the first half the 2017/18 campaign started off at a slow pace and there was concern about the goalscoring drought, things turned around in the second half of the season.
We've witnessed teams going from scoring one goal in five games to scoring three goals in a single match. Players performing to their absolute best ability, while others earning themselves Man of the Match awards.
We have a put together a starting line-up of who we think had done well to date this season and believe would form the best dream starting XI of the 2017/18 PSL season. Below is how we have lined them up:
Goalkeeper: Itumeleng Khune
Defenders: Thamsanqa Mkhize, Robyn Johannes, Bangaly Soumahouro, Innocent Maela
Midfielders: Thembinkosi Lorch, Fortune Makaringe, Percy Tau, Luvuyo Memela
Strikers: Rodney Ramagalela, Evans Rusike
