Orlando Pirates continued with their inconsistent form as they failed to register a win against Free State Stars whom they hosted on Saturday evening and lost 2-1 at Orlando Stadium.
Supporters Club caught up with one of its members and a Bucs fan, David Masindi to get his thoughts on the Bucs inconsistent run. Below is how he expressed his disappointment to SC's Lerato and suggested what the club needs to do to get back to winning ways.
Lerato: Dave, disappointing results on Saturday for the Buccaneers, where is the team actually failing?
David Masindi: We lost the game when Nyauza got injured and our midfield was disjointed. We need a central midfielder and a striker who can actually score goals for us. We can't rely on Kutumela and Shonga haven't really impressive either. As for Thamsanqa Gabuza, he must just go. If I was the chairman I would have long released him. I mean, it's not good for a team of Pirates calibre to play the way they are playing. The coach doing all he can, trust me he is trying his best but he's not getting anywhere with the current players who don't follow instructions of scoring goals. Even the centre backs, you know what, Khoza must just get a new team. He must get rid of the players who are not committed to playing for our team. You know, as we as speak, I'm wearing a Pirates jersey, that's how much I love my team. It hurts and disappoints that results are not coming our way. Khoza must make a plan now.
Do you agree with David, should Khoza release Gabuza?
