'I Can't Wait To See The Zambian Connection, Shonga And Mulenga Torment Oppositions'

'I Can't Wait To See The Zambian Connection, Shonga And Mulenga Torment Oppositions'

Orlando Pirates striker, Justin Shonga has spoken out about his eagerness to play alongside his new teammate and countryman, Augustine Mulenga.

Mulenga joined the Bucs ship last month during the January transfer window and the Buccaneers faithful await his official debut in the colours of the Ghosts.

Speaking to Soccer Laduma, Shonga is excited about having his role model team up with him. The 21-year old said that Mulenga is one of the players he looks up to and has always known that he would be successful in his career. Shonga also said that he has no doubt that the supporters will love him.

Supporters Club members have reacted to Shonga's excitement of having Mulenga on board at Mayfair, with some of the belief that the Zambian duo will form a deadly combination in the Absa Premiership.

"You came to South Africa before Mulenga and you have already adapted to PSL and Pirates' style of play. He should be learning from you but you are not making this to be about you. Wow, such humility."- chiefs is useless

"Sounds Amazing. I can't wait to see this amazing star in action also. Hopefully, he'll be selected against Chippa."- Stevovo wa lePirates

"I believe both of them will be able to score lots of goals for Bucs."- MASTER@MAVUSO

"I can't wait to see these two players tormenting our oppositions and scoring goals for Bucs. I hope they live up to our expectations. Zambian connection."- Deftman05
