With no offers for Bolivian international Erwin Saavedra, who's currently on rehabbing in his home country, Masandawana look set to hold on to the midfielder for this season.
The player may not be in Rulani Mokwena's plans but a Siya source revealed that Sundowns might only be able to let him go when his contract expires in 2024.
Although the player does have a 2-year contract extension option, the club isn't expected to exercise it.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Sundowns To Run Down South American's Contract?" story:
"Hahaha, he is milking Motsepe's millions without even playing 10 games a season since he arrived. Who signed him ?? Nasir is next on milking Motsepe millions train, he's always injured," says pholasti.
"You've said it correctly, he is milking Motsepe's millions not yours and Motsepe is not complaining," replies bhekilekhuleni6.
"But Dolly is doing it more and Billiat had sucked Chiefs dry, that's why they always waiting for players that are free agents," says MAJICSAMBO@WASUNDOWNS.
"Give him to Chiefs for free," says Mpho P.
"Renew his contract for another 2 years with an improved deal," replies pholasti.
"A player is undergoing rehabilitation in his home country, right? His contract expires in 2024. Sources say 'due to high recruitment cost Sundowns will wait for his expiry date to let him go'.
"Its so counterintuitive, If Sundowns know that are not gonna use this player despite having two-year option on contract, why wouldn't they release him or sell him if its foregone conclusion according to the sources; why would they wait for a predetermined loss?" asks His Majesty Yellow PSL Beast.

The Siya crew understands that one of Orlando Pirartes' new midfield signings, Siphelo Baloni, could be on his way out of the club on a season-long loan.
With the PSL transfer window closing on 22 September, Baloni could be a surprise exit from the Buccaneers who signed him from All Stars.
Siya sources revealed that the Pirates coaching staff rate the 23-year-old but feel that he might not get enough game time in the current set-up.
Due to Pirates' good relationship with Golden Arrows, Baloni could be sent there for some much-needed game time in the DStv Premiership this season.
Here's how some of SL's readers responded to the "Orlando Pirates To Loan Out New Signing?" story:
"I urge this boy to work even harder so he can reap the fruits of hard his work. He is not at Pirates by chance, but because Pirates acknowledged his dedication to the game, he must keep his head up and he'll see over the horizon. Keep it up Buccaneer," says jamesonngcoboj63.
"It's only a crime when Sundowns buys and loans a player," says makhause(2).
"It's that PA team that sees it as a crime, not us at Pirates. Orlando Pirates as a team and their supporters mind their own business.
"We don't have a media house like our neighbors. We go about our business quietly," says oupa.phiri27.
