President Ramaphosa, Pitso & MORE Wish Bafana The Best

Bafana Bafana have received plenty of well wishes from leading SA coaches, clubs and even the President of the nation ahead of their Round of 16 match against Morocco. Check it out!

What's the story?

As Bafana Bafana gear up to meet Morocco in a highly anticipated Africa Cup of Nations last-16 crunch clash at the Laurent Pokou Stadium in San Pedro, Hugo Broos' men have received plenty of support.

Former national team boss Pitso Mosimane as well as South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, have thrown their weight behind Bafana, who hope for another Quarter-final berth at the continental showpiece.

Let's take a closer look...

Plenty of support for Bafana

South Africa will hope to break Moroccan hearts in their Round of 16 clash in San Pedro, with hopes of repeating their AFCON Qualifier result in Johannesburg against the Atlas Lions, winning 2-1 on the night.

It'll be a late for Mzansi football fans as the encounter kicks-off at 22:00 SA Time, but Bafana won't be short of any support if the online messages of encouragement are anything to go by.

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena's core players; Aubrey Modiba, Grant Kekana, Mothobi Mvala, Teboho Mokoena, Themba Zwane and skipper Ronwen Williams also form part of the Bafana spine.

The young mentor wrote: "The nation is fully behind you" in his Tweet earlier today, showing his support to the squad as a whole and not his Sundowns troops.

Newly-announced Abha FC boss, Pitso Mosimane put some pressure on his former stars Percy Tau and Temba Zwane to carry Bafana into the next round to face Cape Verde:

"Shika [Themba Zwane], Lion of Judah, you have the extensive experience and leadership of playing these big games," wrote Jingles on Twitter/X.

President Cyril Ramaphosa was seen on camera with Minister of Sports, Arts Culture Zizi Kodwa, where he jokingly referred to the Minister as the "super coach."
