Let's take a closer look at what they had to say...

Soccer Laduma's Siya Crew has been led to believe that the Buccaneers have entered the race to re-sign veteran midfielder Andile Jali.

Jali became a free agent after parting ways with DStv Premiership champs Mamelodi Sundowns and could be welcomed back at the Buccaneers on a short-term deal.

With Pirates playing CAF Champions League football next season, Jali's experience could be invaluable on that stage, with Pirates reportedly leading the race for the 33-year-old who prefers to finish his career in Gauteng.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Pirates Chase Free Agent Jali?" story:

"AJ is not a spring chicken anymore but Pirates has proven to like them old, look at Makhaula," says Shikabala.

"The only Club that would benefit the most in Jali is for obvious reasons watching, thinking that Jali is not better than anyone in their so-called Midfield, only to realize after he comes face-toPface with them in a Soweto Derby, that 'Eish, Ja we should have gone for him', shame," says mthunzijack7.

"I'd love to have him back," says @ThizaK.

"Swallows or Chiefs maybe. I doubt SuperSport wants him. For Pirates it's a big no no," says Onside.

"Lol, even if he signs for Pirates it's gonna be another cold season on the bench for AJ. Pirates already have a formidable midfield and Siphesihle Ndlovu is returning from SuperSport. Only if Motshwari leaves, he will have a chance," says Slow_Poison.

"Come back home were you belong," says info.phike.engineering.

"Jali has to sign to either one of Soweto teams. We miss him," says Zuuzuumhle.

Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly agreed a one-year contract extension for attacker Khama Billiat, who missed a chunk of Arthur Zwane's maiden season at the helm due to injury.

A Soccer Laduma source close to the club and the player revealed that a deal was agreed recently, with the two parties reportedly agreeing on some of the conditions stipulated in the new contract.

Tanzanian side Yanga were said to be the only other team interested in Billiat, but the salary offering didn't come close to what the Zimbabwean earns at Amakhosi.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Billiat Chiefs Agree New One Year Deal?" story:

"There will never be a win-win situation with Billiat. How is that possible while he is forever injured? Maybe the Chiefs merchandise is flowing because of him, that is why they're holding onto him, but that salary..." says Fela.

"He will be out injured for the most part of the season anyway. Chiefs are being generous to him," says Rio Da Khosi.

"The guy is finished, that is why it's only Chiefs that is willing to give him an offer with the clause to agree on his salary reduction," says user549318.
