'Chiefs Can Sign Laffor, No Problem'

'Chiefs Can Sign Laffor, No Problem'

Mamelodi Sundowns striker Anthony Laffor's stay at Chloorkop could come to an end should the Liberian not renew his contract, which is set to expire in June next year.

The 33-year-old has seen little game time at Masandawana this season, having made only eight league appearances for Ka Bo Yellow so far. According to the Siya crew, Kaizer Chiefs, who have been interested in the player for some time now, have reignited their interest in the striker.

Supporters Club members have mixed opinions regarding the possibility of the Liberian striker donning Amakhosi colours one day...

"Okay, they can sign him, no problem." – mkhasiDowns

"Laffor is a Champions League player, not a Macufe Cup player, unless you change the name to Macufe Champions League." – S'fiso Mabizela

"Lol! Chiefs have so many young attacking players, are they really willing to let this madala take their spot." – nazzi the second

"With Bobby in charge, I won't be surprised. He shows interest in players, then keeps quiet until they extend their contracts, and then shows interest again when he can no longer afford them. He did the same with Vila (Sibusiso Vilakazi)." – siyaz

"Give him a long-term contract, he is good!" – Diski-nine-nine!

Would you like to see Laffor at Naturena in the future?
