On the "Mngqithi: It Might Be Embarrassing For Them" story , the Downs co-coach stated that it might be embarrassing for the Buccaneers to not have the bulk of the ball on their home turf.
Here's what Ignatious 091 had to say about that:
"Manqoba is trying to tell us how to play his team. However, it's untrue that we play like Chiefs on transition. It's simply to dethrone an opponent by playing in a way that they cannot succeed against us. Even in the days of Pitso, we never parked the bus and played on transition. We will not start that now against a weaker Sundowns."
The spicier comments were aimed at Mngqithi's former colleague at Masandawana, the newly appointed Al Ahli coah, Pitso Mosimane.
On the "Another SA Coach For Overseas Switch?" story regarding Maahir Davids' rumoured move to Ajax Amsterdam, regular commenter Slimtony 7 said:
"Hopefully one day they'll [SA Coaches] be moving to the European big leagues and not a desert Mvela like Pitso Mosimane."
On the "Pitso: The Sad Thing About South African Players" story, a number of fans were quick to point out that Jungles is contradicting himself with his statements:
Bendazi said: "Good luck coach but remember at Sundowns you also refused to let players go players had to throw their toys in order to leave."
Peter Chongo said: "Mosimane sometimes forgets easily, he was the one who blocked players to play abroad now he is crying... how?"
Saavedra said: "You are the one who killed the careers of our players by refusing them opportunities to go overseas. You took Tau from England to Egypt and killed his career and then leaving him."
