Jeremy Brockie's move to Mamelodi Sundowns has been the hottest talk of the town. This is because the 30-year was also a wanted man by Orlando Pirates in the transfer window.
Although Sundowns have not disclosed the fee they paid to secure Brockie's services, reports making rounds are that striker was sold at an estimated fee of R12 million plus to Chloorkop.
Supporters Club's Lerato Mkhondo caught up with Bucs fan Richard Mtshali, who thinks Brockie was a bit overpriced for the Buccaneers and the New Zealand forward is therefore not a big loss for the Ghosts.
Lerato: Bhakajuju, how do you feel about missing out on Brockie?
Richard: It's okay, we've accepted it. He was a bit overpriced. It also seems that Bucs won't be doing any signings judging by coach Micho's interview on Sports@10 television programme on Wednesday evening. I think the squad we have now is more than capable of achieving great things. Although a quality target man would be very much appreciated.
Do you agree that Brockie was too overpriced for Bucs?
