Bafana Announce Starting XI To Face Angola

Bafana extended their winning streak to three matches in international friendlies after coming from behind to beat Mozambique 2-1 courtesy of a brace by Bongokuhle Hlongwane, at the same venue on Thursday.

Hugo Broos' charges are preparing for the resumption of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in March next year.

Angola, on the hand, stretched their winning run to five matches, including their African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers after edging Botswana 1-0 in an international friendly on Thursday at Dobsonville Stadium.

The Palancas Negras qualified for CHAN at the expense of Bafana after humiliating them 6-1 on aggregate in the final qualification round.

The CHAN tournament will take place in Algeria from 13 January to 4 February next year.

Bafana played the CHAN qualifiers with a squad largely made up of the U-23 players and fringe players in the DStv Premiership.
