Teams: TS Galaxy v Swallows FC

Date: 07 October 2022

Venue: Mbombela Stadium

Time: 15h30

The Birds started a new era without former head coach Dylan Kerr on Wednesday but caretaker coach Musa Nyatama could not prevent their third consecutive defeat after going down 2-1 to Kaizer Chiefs.

As a result, the Soweto outfit dropped down to the bottom of the table with eight points and a win will take them out of the relegation zone.

Galaxy, meanwhile, will also be looking to snap out of their winless run which stretched to six matches after a narrow 1-0 loss against Marumo Gallants on Tuesday.

The Rockets have been dropping down on the table, as they are currently lying 12th and will have a chance to move back into the top eight positions.

Galaxy, who were without head coach Sead Ramovic on Wednesday, have won the last three meetings between the sides in the league.

In fact, Swallows are yet to beat the Rockets since they returned to the Premiership in 2020.
