Chiefs won three league games in a row for the first time this season after edging Richards Bay 1-0 courtesy of a goal by Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, which was also the third straight win by the same scoreline.
As a result, Amakhosi sit sixth on the table with 23 points and could climb as high third with a tonight.
Sekhukhune, on the other hand, have not been in league action since mid December after a 1-0 loss to AmaZulu ended their two-game winning run.
Babina Noko are languishing 14th on the table with 17 points, seven points above the relegation zone.
Chiefs will have a chance to complete a league double over Sekhukhune after edging them 2-1 in September thanks to a winner by Edmilson Dove after Edson Castillo cancelled out an opener for United by Elias Mokwana.
