The KwaZulu-Natal outfit resumed their league campaign with a 2-1 defeat to Cape Town City on Friday afternoon, which extended their losing run to four matches in all competitions.

The defeat to the Citizens left Royal AM in 11th position, but a win could take the side into the top eight.

Galaxy, meanwhile, ended a run of ten games without a win after defeating Maritzburg United 2-1 at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Saturday.

Sead Ramovic's find themselves in eighth position heading into the encounter and could climb as high as sixth with a win.

This will be the third top-flight meeting between the two sides, with Royal AM winning both of last season's fixtures.
