Sundowns took four points off Arrows last season, as they beat them 2-1 at home courtesy of goals by Peter Shalulile and an own goal by Siyavuya Ndlovu after Pule Mmodi had equalised for Abafana Bes'thende.

Sipho Mbule rescued a 1-1 draw for Sundowns with a late equaliser in the reverse after Ryan Moon gave Arrows the lead in the first stanza.
