Sekhukhune United will be aiming for back-to-back victories in the DStv Premiership when they visit struggling Golden Arrows on Wednesday evening.

Sekhukhune re-opened their season with a resounding 3-1 victory Richards Bay courtesy of goals from Linda Mntambo, Chibuike Ohizu and Thamsanqa Masiya.

Babina Noko will be high in confidence after also booking their spot in the Nedbank Cup round of 16b after beating Highlands Park on penalties following a 1-1 draw in extra-time.

However, Sekhukhune bowed out of the CAF Confederation Cup with a game to spare after playing to a goalless draw against RSB Berkane over the weekend.

Lehlohonolo Seema's charges are lying 11th on the Premiership standings with 21 points.

As for Arrows, their bad run of form spilled over to the Nedbank Cup after they were knocked out 2-1 in the first round by TS Galaxy over the weekend.

Abafana Bes'thende restarted their campaign with a 3-1 defeat to the Rockets in the league, as they've suffered nine defeat in ten games in all competitions.

Arrows are placed ninth on the log, one point off the top eight.

Abafana Bes'thende won the first round clash between the sides 1-0 in October last year thanks to a goal by Brandon Theron.
