DStv Premiership

Teams: Golden Arrows v Cape Town City

Date: 04 October 2022

Venue: Princess Magogo Stadium

Time: 19h30

The Citizens have not been in domestic action in just under a month after playing back-to-matches against Otoho d'Oyo in the CAF Champions League preliminary round and came away with a 2-0 aggregate win.

After a horrible start to the season, the Citizens have steadied the ship as they extended their unbeaten run to five matches after a goalless draw against Sekhukhune United, with the side now lying in 12th position.

Looking at Arrows, they are one of the in-form sides in the league as they also overcame their worrying start.

Abafana Bes'thende have won three of their last four matches as they thrashed Swallows 4-0 before the FIFA break.

Arrows climbed up to fifth on the log as a result, with 11 points, just three points behind second-placed Orlando Pirates.

The Mother City dominated this fixture last season after collecting a maximum of six points.
