The Buccaneers will be competing in the group stage of the Champions League for the first time since the 2018/19 season.
That proved to be disappointing campaign for the Soweto giants, who did not make it out the group stage after finishing third.
Jose Riveiro's charges will be hoping to go one better this time, as they come into the clash having won their last four matches in the league.
In face, Pirates' only defeat this campaign came in a surprise 3-2 loss to Magesi FC in the Carling Knockout in October.
CR Belouizdad have faced South African opposition before, as they lost 6-2 on aggregate to Mamelodi Sundowns in the quarter-finals last year.
