Sundowns extended their unbeaten record to four matches in the Betway Premiership following a goalless draw against Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The draw see Miguel Cardoso's charges move up to fourth spot on the league table after four rounds of matches.
Stellenbosch, meanwhile, got their first win of the league campaign after defeating Marumo Gallants 1-0 in Limpopo on Tuesday evening.
Steve Barker's charges, however, have failed to beat Sundowns in their last six league encounters, but they did overcome the Brazilians in the two-legged MTN8 semi-finals last season.
