Sundowns are in need of a redemptive win after they lost 2-1 to Magesi in the Carling Knockout final and had a slow start in the CAF Champions League group stages after a goalless draw against unfancied Maniema Union on Tuesday.

The Brazilians will have a chance to go top of the table on goal difference, as they are placed second on the table, three points behind leaders Orlando Pirates, who host Stellenbsoch on Sunday afternoon.
